  • Profile Data: Age, weight, height, activity level, dietary goals, and preferences
  • Meal Logs: Foods consumed, portion sizes, meals, and nutrition data you track
  • Recipes: Recipes you save, create, or import
  • Photos: Food and recipe photos you take using our AI analysis features

Automatically Collected Information

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
  • Usage Data: Features used, screens viewed, actions taken within the app
  • Performance Data: Crash logs, error reports, and app performance metrics

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the app's functionality
  • Process your meal logs and calculate nutrition metrics
  • Analyze food photos using AI to identify foods and estimate calories
  • Import and parse recipes from URLs

Important Limitations

We do NOT:

  • Use your health, nutrition, or meal data for advertising or marketing
  • Sell your personal information to third parties
  • Share your nutrition data with advertisers
  • Use your photos for training AI models without explicit consent

Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored securely using Supabase's encrypted database
  • Photos are processed for analysis and then can be deleted
  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data
  • Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correct: Update inaccurate information in your profile settings
  • Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Opt-Out: Disable optional data collection in app settings
  • Export: Download your meal logs and recipe data

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Go to Settings → Account Settings
  2. Scroll to "Danger Zone"
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Or contact us at support@recipeready.app

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data including meals, recipes, and preferences will be permanently deleted within 48 hours.

Children's Privacy

RecipeReady is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

International Users

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States where our servers are located. By using RecipeReady, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and posting a notice in the app.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion:

  • Account data is deleted within 48 hours
  • Backup copies are removed within 30 days
  • Anonymized analytics data may be retained for improvement purposes
