Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the RecipeReady mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

RecipeReady is a nutrition tracking and meal planning application that provides:

  • Meal and food logging with nutrition tracking
  • Recipe discovery, import, and management
  • AI-powered photo-to-calorie analysis (Premium feature)
  • AI-powered photo-to-recipe generation (Premium feature)
  • Recipe import from social media and websites (Premium feature)
  • Personal nutrition goal tracking
  • Meal planning assistance (Pro feature)
  • Cooking and nutrition coaching (Pro feature)

Account Registration

  • You must create an account to use RecipeReady
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use RecipeReady
  • You may not share your account with others

Subscription Terms

Free Plan

  • Basic meal logging and recipe management
  • Limited access to core features
  • No credit card required

Premium Subscription

Includes:

  • AI photo-to-calorie analysis
  • AI photo-to-recipe generation
  • Import recipes from social media and websites

Pro Subscription

Includes:

  • All Premium features
  • AI meal plans based on goals and preferences
  • Cooking and nutrition coach

Payment Terms

  • Subscriptions are billed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
  • Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings
  • No refunds for partial subscription periods

Free Trial

  • Free trials may be offered for Premium or Pro subscriptions
  • You will not be charged during the trial period
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the subscription price
  • Cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
  • Use the App to harass or harm others
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools or bots without permission

User-Generated Content

  • You retain ownership of content you create (recipes, meal logs, photos)
  • You grant us a license to store, display, and process your content to provide the service
  • You are responsible for the content you upload
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms
  • We do not claim ownership of your recipes or photos

AI Features Disclaimer

Photo Analysis Accuracy

  • AI photo-to-calorie and photo-to-recipe features provide estimates only
  • Results may not be 100% accurate
  • Always verify nutrition information for medical or dietary requirements
  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated data

Medical Disclaimer

  • RecipeReady is not a medical device or medical advice service
  • Do not use RecipeReady to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease
  • Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice
  • We are not liable for health consequences from using the App

Recipe Content

  • Recipes imported from external sources remain the property of their original creators
  • We do not claim ownership of third-party recipes
  • Users are responsible for respecting copyright when sharing recipes
  • Report copyright violations to support@recipeready.app

Data and Privacy

  • Your use of RecipeReady is subject to our Privacy Policy
  • We collect and use data as described in the Privacy Policy
  • You consent to data collection and processing when using the App
  • You can request data deletion by deleting your account

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Abuse the service or other users
  • Fail to pay subscription fees

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the App will be revoked
  • Your data may be deleted
  • No refunds will be provided for remaining subscription time

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy of nutrition data
  • Warranties regarding AI-generated content

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
  • We are not liable for health outcomes, dietary decisions, or medical conditions
  • We are not responsible for third-party content or services

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Posting a notice in the App
  • Sending an email (if provided)

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
